Lichen Planus
Known Symptoms
- Purple, flat-topped itchy bumps on the skin
- White, lacy patches in the mouth (oral lichen planus)
- Nail thinning or ridging
- Hair loss in affected areas
Known Causes
- Autoimmune mechanisms where the immune system attacks skin or mucosal cells

- Skin or mucosal biopsy to confirm diagnosis
