Known Symtoms

Rough, raised bumps on the skin
Usually painless but can be tender if irritated
May appear singly or in clusters
Sometimes have a black dot in the center (clotted blood vessels)

Known Causes

Direct contact with HPV from an infected person or surface
Weak immune system increasing susceptibility
Skin trauma or breaks that allow viral entry

Care

Clinical examination by a healthcare professional
Biopsy in rare or uncertain cases
Avoid touching or picking at warts to prevent spread
Topical treatments such as salicylic acid
Cryotherapy, laser removal, or other procedures for persistent or resistant warts
Maintain good hygiene and protect affected areas
