Dr. Ahmed Mordi
Consultant, Intervention Radiologist

About
Dr. Ahmed Mordi is a Senior Consultant Interventional Radiologist with 18 years of clinical experience and a strong track record in advanced minimally invasive procedures, including trauma interventions, musculoskeletal (MSK) procedures, embolization, and thrombectomy. He currently practices at Royal Bahrain Hospital, where he delivers high-complexity image-guided therapies that reduce surgical burden and improve patient recovery outcomes.
Holding the European Board of Interventional Radiology certification from Austria, the European Diploma in Stroke Intervention, and a Master of Science in Radiology, Dr. Mordi also has specialized academic expertise in diabetic foot care, interventional thyroidology, male and female health interventional radiology, and interventional nephrology. He combines procedural expertise with scientific insight to provide advanced patient-centered care.
His work reflects a mission to expand access to modern interventional radiology across the GCC, elevate training standards, and lead the development of dedicated IR centers, particularly in thyroid and parathyroid care in Bahrain.
