Care Before the Procedure
- Inform the doctor about allergies, medications, or prior reactions to injections.

Care During the Procedure
- Use sterile technique to prevent infection at the injection site.
- Administer the injection accurately using landmark-based or ultrasound guidance.
- Monitor the patient for immediate allergic or adverse reactions.
- Ensure patient comfort with local anesthesia or topical numbing agents.
Care After the Procedure
- Rest the injected joint for 24–48 hours to reduce discomfort.
- Apply ice if advised to minimize swelling or pain.
- Monitor for redness, swelling, or signs of infection at the injection site.
- Begin physiotherapy as recommended to restore joint mobility and strength.
Eligibility
- Patients with osteoarthritis or tendonitis causing joint pain and limited mobility.
- Individuals with bursitis or arthritis flares needing targeted anti-inflammatory treatment.
- People requiring injections to facilitate rehabilitation or improve participation in physiotherapy.
- Patients who have not responded sufficiently to oral medications or conservative therapy.
